The moon was born from a combination of almonds and green anise, reminiscent of the sweetness of Provence.
In this simple recipe based on sugar, almond, egg and green aniseed (and that's all!), the Lunis Anis will appeal to palates looking for straightforward biscuits. The first bite is crunchy, but the flavours gradually develop until they become flamboyant, with a very good Arabica for example !
