Croquettes de Vinsobres almond and chocolate

In 2018, in order to pay tribute to the Croquettes de Vinsobres, a traditional Provencal biscuit, the Biscuiterie de Provence created the Croquettes de Vinsobres almond and chocolate. A version with 19% almonds and 19% chocolate for the 110 years of the Croquette. Rediscover the tradition and the chocolate as well ! The recipe is unchanged, only chocolatey goodness is added ! The traditional biscuit now has its own variation with 19% more chocolate to enhance this Provençal heritage recipe and bring novelty to traditions !

At first contact, the biscuit is crunchy, which is why it is called "croquette". Very quickly, the croquette melts, leaving a delicious taste of almond and dark chocolate in the mouth...

In 1908, Henri Chauvet, a baker in Vinsobres, a small village in the Drôme Provençale, created the Croquettes de Vinsobres : little biscuits with little sugar, based on almonds and largely crunchy. In 1985, the Bédouin family bought the recipe and continued the traditional production. From now on, it is within the Biscuiterie de Provence, the 6th generation of the BÉDOUIN family, that the Croquettes de Vinsobres are made. It is 110 years later that the factory decided to pay tribute to this typical Provencal biscuit by creating a variation :  Croquettes de Vinsobres almond and chocolate.
