Soft nougat bars
Our Nougats, inherited from an ancient recipe, harmoniously blend the creaminess of almonds with the sweetness of honey.
These delights from Petit Duc are the result of a Provençal tradition preserved through the ages. Prepared using an unchanged artisanal method, in large copper basins, our Nougats stand out for their incomparable authenticity.
The result? A perfect balance between firmness and tenderness, avoiding any unpleasant stickiness. Their low sugar content enhances the purity and natural aromas of the fruits they contain.
For an even more intense experience, our House has innovated by creating 100% fruit Nougats, exquisitely flavored creations that exalt the richness of authentic flavors!
Nougat, the essential Provençal specialty
Nougat perfectly embodies the sweetness of Provence. With its soft texture and roasted almonds, it evokes the sunny warmth of the South.
At Petit Duc, we have created four delicious nougats, sweetened lightly with sugar to preserve this pleasure without excess:
The Cévennes nougat combines the reputation of the walnuts from this region, known for their rich flavor and unique crunch, with our nougat. This variation offers an unforgettable tasting experience for walnut lovers.
The pistachio nougat, a beautiful white slice dotted with pistachios, which add a vibrant touch of color. A true delight in the mouth that is well worth trying.
The pine nut nougat is a delight with the jewels of Provence, giving our nougat a crunchy texture and a unique taste. It is a gourmet creation that perfectly marries sweetness and refinement.
The classic nougat is a delicious and creamy creation, a true house specialty, made with almonds.
Four variations, for four surprising and unforgettable tasting experiences.
Le Petit Duc Calissons
Lightly sweetened, incredibly soft, with a delicious taste and unparalleled delicacy... This is the best way to describe our calissons. These culinary specialties from the House are made in square form to be savored in one bite, providing an incomparable feeling of lightness.
A historic preparation
Before the era of manufacturing, at the end of the 19th century, sugar remained a rare commodity, used sparingly. Petit Duc followed the same principle during the hours spent studying recipes before the Aix calisson to finally arrive at its signature recipe for Saint-Rémy Calissons...
Handcrafted production in Provence
Our calissons are handmade in our workshops using quality ingredients and respecting traditions with the same expertise passed down since the 19th century. A meticulous process that results in smooth and consistent specialties. We favor manual methods over mechanical ones, prioritizing quality and emotion. After production, they are carefully hand-wrapped to guarantee a high-quality finish both visually and in taste.
Original creations
Our calissons are also original creations, with flavors like Pistachio, Damask Rose, strong orange, or even organic. A subtle balance for an absolutely incomparable taste. Bold specialties that make an ideal gift for lovers of delicacy. Available in bars or in pretty metal boxes adorned with beautiful decorations. A delicate gift to give or to treat yourself. For a delicious tasting moment ahead.
Our jams and honeys from the region
We are committed to highlighting a selection of quality products from local producers and farms. Because local sourcing for our production is an integral part of our priorities. We want to promote this approach to our customers and give them the opportunity to taste the delights of our producers.
My Wife’s Jams
Discover the My Wife’s Jams ! Handmade delights made using traditional methods passed down from generation to generation. To make these jams, she selects seasonal fruits at their peak ripeness, offering the full flavor of the fruit.
This artisan puts all her love into the preparation, allowing you to enjoy an authentic, high-quality, and of course generous jam.
Rucher Vahé Honeys
Discover the honey from Rucher Vahé, a beekeeper and producer located 7 km from La Fabrique! In this apiary, you will be delighted by the variety of honeys and their unique flavors, including lavender, garrigue, flowers, and many more.
The family business has been carrying on the beekeeping tradition for several generations. The honeys are classified according to the different departments where the bees forage. In spring, the hives are placed in Isère to capture the delicacy of acacia. In Ardèche, the bees collect the bitter nectar of the chestnut tree. Finally, in Drôme, the bees produce lavender honey with enchanting aromas, as well as garrigue honey with wild aromas. Each honey is unique, reflecting the terroirs where it was born.
What are the specialties of the South of France to know and taste?
Our other culinary specialties from the Region, to find in our ranges:
The olive oil cake
A flagship product of the great table of the 13 desserts of Provence, this famous dessert made with olive oil comes in two flavors: traditional or with candied fruits.
Our pastry chefs have reinvented it, respecting the Provençal tradition, as a shortbread biscuit! Still made with olive oil and orange blossom, you will discover a touch of lemon for extra freshness!
Available exclusively during the Christmas season.
The Croquette de Vinsobres
The Croquette de Vinsobresis a crunchy biscuit, shaped like an oval slice, slightly browned on top, with a light and wonderfully compact texture inside. This treat, dating back to 1908, is made with almonds, making it a true delight and a specialty of the region.
For the story, the recipe was bought in 1985 by the Bédoin family, who decided to keep the house name: Croquette de Vinsobres, and not to change the original recipe. To celebrate this partnership, they later created a new recipe inspired by the first, but this time adding chocolate. This is how the chocolate Croquette de Vinsobres was born.
