Almond Triangles
Description
This Petit Duc staple is halfway between a confection and a biscuit!
Three successive bakes are necessary to assemble the different elements of the Almond Triangles.
First, a shortcrust pastry is made by the skilled hands of our pastry chef. While this first biscuit is baking, a mixture of almonds, honey, and butter is gently reduced over low heat in a copper mixing bowl. It is then poured over the pastry base and finally united during a last oven bake. A hot knife cut finishes the marathon to create these delights, the famous Almond Triangles.
They are so good that they leave no one indifferent. Nothing is needed to accompany these little wonders...
