Vinsobres Almond Croquettes
Description
Discover the Croquettes de Vinsobres! A small traditional biscuit from the Drôme Provençale containing more than 20% almonds and generously crunchy to the bite.
A crispy biscuit shaped like an oval slice, slightly browned on top, light and wonderfully compact inside.
The Croquettes de Vinsobres are made with great care, following a method that perfectly respects the original tradition. Once packaged in a metal tin, their famous yellow bag has given them a unique identity for over half a century.
Traditionally dipped in a glass of red wine, Croquettes de Vinsobres also pair wonderfully with sweet and sparkling wines. Enjoy these lightly sweetened biscuits with a Sauternes, but why not try a Muscat from Rasteau or Beaume de Venise nearby? Or a sparkling wine (of course champagne, but also a Clairette de Die from the Drôme!). They are perfect for tea or coffee time and brighten up aperitifs and desserts.
Created in 1908 in Vinsobres in the Drôme Provençale, this delicious traditional almond biscuit is still made using a century-old method following the same recipe. In 1985, the Bédouin family bought the recipe and continues the traditional production. Now, within the Biscuiterie de Provence, the 6th generation of the BÉDOUIN family, the Croquettes de Vinsobres are crafted. Our talented pastry chefs still use the same delicious recipe!
For over a century, these biscuits have traditionally marked meals and moments of pleasure for the Provençals.
Indulge in 200 grams of almond treats to share good times around a beautiful table!
